At Access, we believe that collections doesn't have to be stressful. Our approach is innovative, informative and professional. We believe that a common sense conversation is much more effective. We create win-win solutions for both parties as our client's intermediary.
I just produced a short video regarding our experience with AMMINA. AMMINA from Interprose is a patent pending virtual collector on the web. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=virtual+collector&aq=f
Let me know if you attended the ACA International convention last week. I am interested to know what you think about the FTC comments. I wish the ACA would do some statistics on percentage of complaints to number of debts placed. Every year we are told that the collection industry receives more complaints than any other industry. But ther reality is that our industry has gotten much better over the years. If you look at the growth in account placements coupled with purchased debt, you would probably see a reduction in complaints as a percentage of debt referred to agencies. Needless to say, when debt collectors do stupid things they make it bad for everyone. The majority of agencies are working hard to comply with outdated regulations every day.
Well it's August and September again. Back to school is one of the more difficult times in the collection business. We just refined our virtual collector to make our payment plans more specific to each person's ability to pay. I am excited about the fact that more and more people are resolving via the web.
